A school in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, released an epic dance video to mark Freedom Day on 27 April.
Known as a "small school with a big heart," St John’s Diocesan School for Girls got learners and teachers alike to put on their dancing shoes to celebrate freedom.
Briefly.co.za learned that the entire school danced to Dance Some More by one of South Africa's most iconic bands, Mango Groove.
The video went viral, putting the over 44,000 people who viewed it into a celebratory mood. It was also liked over 800 times and shared close to 1,000 times.

President Ramaphosa's Freedom Day message.
President Cyril Ramaphosa led the country in marking Freedom Day by emphasising that freedom is not complete until land is returned to those from whom it was taken.
Speaking during Freedom Day celebrations in the Free State, Ramaphosa reiterated the ANC's plan to expropriate land without compensation.
