Remembering Akhumzi Jezile: SA celebs share their final memories of the actor

Shock and sadness have been overwhelming South Africans after news broke of the tragic accident that claimed the lives of Akhumzi Jezile and his fellow entertainers Siyasanga Kobese and Thobani Mseleni.

Among those that died were Akhumzi Jezile, news anchor Thobani Mseleni and singer/actress Siyasanga Kobese. The other two victims identities have not been revealed, reported previously.

Jezile began his career in TV as a presenter of YoTV and grew as an actor and South Africa soon fell in love with the charming young man.

As South Africans mourn his death, local celebrities shared their most fondest moments with the actor, which would help keep his legacy alive forever.

Thando Thabethe took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing with Jezile, captioning the post: "Dance as if this is the last dance. Dance with abandon, holding nothing back. That will bring transformation to your being, and a possibility of transformation for other people too.- Rajneesh #RIPAkhumzi".

Candice Modiselle shared a heartbreaking message on social media about what she would remember about the producer.

"I remember you always saying in our ears "Don't lose the moment... Well done guys." Now that's all we have, moments reduced to memories.", she captioned part of her post.

Messages from South African celebs came streaming in, showing just how important Jezile was to the people close to him.
