Black South Africans have been claiming land since December’s announcement, and some believe the lives of white people are threaten by the intense desire of indigenous people to own land.

It has gotten to the point where other countries- Australia being one- offered refuge to white South Africans.

However, some black people believe chasing away all whites by demanding land back was not the answer.

Taking to social media, a DA Ambassador, Zola Ndwandwe, posted the country needed white people to stay in it.

“White people should not leave South Africa, White people should stay, South Africa needs you. We need to build the South African Economy and get rid of the "deadweight" currently in government. We are better together - I believe we can achieve a non-racial economy.”, Ndwandwe wrote.

Her post was praised by other tweeps, who agreed with her, adding she was brave to voice her opinion on such a public platform.

However, some people felt if whites decided to stay in SA, they would be risking their own lives.

Then, there were those who felt whites needed to get out of the country because they were trespassing on land they stole.
