Life is really happening for South African actress and radio star Sthandwa Gama. Not long ago we watched as she said “I do” to prominent businessman Philani Gama. The country watched this fairy-tale union, marvelling at the stylish bride.
Now, eight months later and social media is a-buzz with “ooohs” and “aaahs” for this new mom-to-be.

The 29-year-old Uzalo actress was born and bred in Inanda township in KwaZulu-Natal. Gama claims to have always had an interest in the entertainment industry and after matriculating, she completed a course in Drama Studies at the Durban University of Technology.
She went on to receive broadcast training at a local community radio station for four years before signing with SABC.
