TshisaLIVE reported the evening was lit, with roasters holding nothing back during their sets.

Briefly.co.za learned the roasters even made fun of Somizi’s relationship with his fiancé, Mohale Motaung.

The South African Idols judge was called a cradle-snatcher and he was then asked if he was planning on buying Motaung a car seat.

As roasts work, Somizi had the opportunity to fire back- he said he could not care less about the criticism because he is richer than anyone on the panel and he added he loved Motaung.

Following the roast, Somizi posted a photo of him and his bae, with an adorable caption about their relationship.

"It’s evident that I’m in love. But one thing I’m def sure of is that this one right here Loves me just as much. Has my back. Supports me all the way. Takes all the bullets for me. He cud have chosen a simple easy life but he chose me and stuck with me. Most were not man enough to stand the heat of dating me or even being associated with me. But Mohale ur still here. Not because of what some think what yo reasons might be. But because yo heart is here.", his post read.
