Born in Soweto in 1979, the 39 year-old actress is a presenter on SABC’s Afternoon Express. Nominated for a Golden Horn award for Best Actress in a feature film, and Best Talk Show Host, this South African star’s rise to success is continuing steadily.
Not just known for her talent as a performer, this leading lady is known for speaking her mind and standing up for what she believes in, and that is exactly what she did recently.
After posting a pic of her other half, with a message saying “missing you”, Mbuli was lambasted by followers for her choice in partner. Not prepared to take the taunts lying down, the outspoken presenter stood up for herself and her love.

Bonnie labelled the shoot "distasteful", and told Twitter that it would never be acceptable. Pearl shared the photos in which she'd been painted a darker colour in a tweet which was received by Twitter with mixed feelings.
