At a recent Comedy Central Roast where Somizi Mhlongo came under fire, Fikile Mbalula commented that his next ideal candidate would have to be none other than EFF leader Julius Malema. His reason? Simply put was that Malema is a politician. It's a challenge to him. But look‚ I know he can take it. He's a man of humour‚ so I know he can take it. Other guys‚ I don't see anybody who can."

The former police minister's post led to Maimane using Atul Gupta to shut him down. And we thought it was the end of it. Well, apparently not. After Maimane posted on Twitter about his breakfast with Tony Leon, former DA leader and son of an apartheid judge, he received some negative feedback from Mr fear nothing himself. Maimane's post praised the late Ramon Leon, the judge who denied Solomon Mahlangu’s appeal before he was sentenced to death in 1979.
