Solly Moeng, SA Brand Summit's convenor, shared the news on his Facebook page. The event took place on 3 May in Cape Town.
Brand Summit praised Mogoeng and Madonsela's steadfastness in leading the judiciary and a key Chapter 9 institution respectively.
The Summit's statement added that the two distinguished figures are great examples of:
...properly qualified men and women of integrity who will always be guided by the dictates of our Constitution, the rule of law, and the need to always put the interests of the country and all its people ahead of all else.
In his keynote address, Chief Justice Mogoeng reminded South Africans to always be patriotic and to be firm on corruption both in public and the private sectors.
He also called on black and white South Africans to come together and find solutions to the issue of the land.
