2. Kaizer Chiefs owners in legal battle over R3 million in unpaid bills
The owners of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, the Motaung family, face a legal battle over unpaid lawyer’s bills.
The family which is considered soccer royalty in South Africa have been slapped with a R3 million lawsuit from their former legal firm.
Kaizer Snr, his wife Julegka and their son Kaizer Jnr are cited as the defendants in court papers filed by their former lawyers Steve Merchak Attorney.
3. South Africans outraged at murder of MUT student, allegedly by her boyfriend
South Africans on social media have reacted with outrage at the murder of a first year student at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT), allegedly by her boyfriend.
Briefly.co.za understands that MUT's spokesperson, Bheki Hlophe, confirmed the incident, which took place on Tuesday night.
In a statement, Hlophe said: The university has learnt with shock of the sudden passing of Zolile Khumalo, a first-year Quantity Surveying student. [The] MUT warden at one of its outsourced residences, where the incident happened, reported that Zolile was shot and killed by an ex-student of the University yesterday [Tuesday].
4. "Happy Birthday my Skat!": Connie Ferguson sends sweet message to her hubby
The Queen actress Connie Ferguson send an adorable message to her husband on his birthday earlier this week.
5. Date My Family: Fans are confused after finding out Ashby is allegedly engaged
A contestant, Ashby, on the hit Mzansi show Date My Family is alleged to be engaged, which confused viewers because he was hanging out with three families on the show in hopes of finding his potential true love.
