Don Dada didn't hold back when he threw a huge party for the reality show, Ultimate House Party. He used the opportunity to represent the Skhothane culture in a whole new way.
He was the mastermind behind the new music genre called Skhothane which has since taken South Africa by storm.
The show is hosted by Zulu 'Dash' Mkhathini and has showcases 16 contestants who threw massive parties for a deserving friend or relative. The parties are judged by a panel which includes comedian Tol Ass Mo, TV personality and dancer Bontle Modiselle and Cassper Nyovest’s BFF, Carpo More.
He took his party to the suburbs and did not dissappoint.
Twitter users reacted with awe at the spectacle.
When Don Dada first came onto the scene and introduced South Africa to Skhothane it was not without controversy as the media labelled the subculture a ‘disturbing new trend… (a) twisted and costly form of one-upmanship’.
