The Spanish football club, FC Barcelona are all set to take on the Mamelodi Sundowns at the FNB Stadium on the 16th of May.

The ABSA Premiership champions have confirmed that they will host the Spanish super club when the travel down to South Africa.

Mamelodi Sundowns have had an exceptional season this year and won the ABSA Premiership with ease. They were crowned the champions before then end of the competition with an unbeatable seven point lead over the second place team Orlando Pirates.

Pitso Mosimane’s boys will be looking to even the scores after FC Barcelone beat Masandawana 2-1 at the at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria in 2007.

The match will be played as part of Nelson Mandela's centenary being held this year.
