Among the many things Nollywood has created awareness for, the unjust treatment meted out on domestic staff is prevalent. Everyday horrible stories of how bosses treat their helps make headlines.

However, a Nigerian lady identified as Awele Maureen Ejiofor seems to shine different in this light. She recently took to Facebook to celebrate her little house help who was brought all the way from Kaduna to Lagos, thanking her for all the work she has been doing.

In the very detailed appreciation post, she narrated how the little girl was first brought into her home and how she gradually fell in love with her and decided to treat her like her own child. Sharing a photo of the seemingly happy girl enjoying a plate of rice and soda, she wrote:

It is indeed beautiful to see people with kind hearts never afraid or hesitant to share the kindness and love with others.

Yet another woman also took to social media to celebrate her house help. A while ago, Briefly.co.za reported new of how a Nigerian woman celebrated her housemaid on her birthday with beautiful photos.
