Supporting local talent: DJ Black Coffee buys young artist’s portrait of him

DJ Black Coffee has shown his support for local talent by purchasing an amazing portrait of him by a young artist.

The young unnamed artist is from Qwaqwa in the Free State, Briefly.co.za learned. He is a big fan of Black Coffee and made several portraits of him.

Twitter users shared photos of the boy with the portraits and urged the popular DJ to get in touch with him.

Black Coffee eventually took notice and got in touch with the young talented artist.

A Twitter user, Themba Rumbu, announced that Black Coffee bought the boy's portrait for R5,800. He shared a photo of the two together.
