- Chloe Aylwar, a three-year-old little girl from Centurion in Pretoria, had social media in stitches this past week after her mom shared an adorable video on social media
- The video shows little Chloe holding a little lamb while asking her dad if she can take it home with her, all while getting scared by the ewe
- She ended up telling her dad she did not want to stay in the ‘sheep house’ forever
The mother of the young girl, Zuleika Aylward, told Maroela Media their family visited Thaba Manzi Ranch neat Rustenburg for the weekend, which was where Chloe spotted the little lamb.
According to Chloe’s mom, the little girl just loves animals and every time she spots an animal she wants to take it home.
Aylward added the little lamb stole her daughter’s heart straight away, to the extent that she wants to return to the ranch to visit it.
“When I saw the video, I actually felt so sorry for her, because I could see she was really scared of the ewe”, Aylward said, adding, “the ewe was not happy about Chloe holding her baby the entire time.”
The video showed little Chloe getting scared of the lamb’s mother, at one point she’s even heard asking ‘help’. Luckily her dad came to the rescue and told the sheep to leave her alone.
She’s then heard getting quite inpatient with her father, telling him to please just pick up her and the little lamb so that they could go home.
Her mother said Chloe was actually a quiet and shy child, adding she does not usually talk in front of strangers.
And like any other little girl, Chloe’s dad is her hero. “She very close to her dad and she always talks about how strong he is and that he’s not afraid of anything.”
According to Aylwar, Chloe got her love for animals from her father. The video was shared on Facebook on 2 May and has since been viewed over 100 000 times.
