Trenton McKinley, from Alabama in US, suffered severe brain damage after he fell from a car trailer two months ago.

The trailer overturned and landed on McKinley’s head., resulting in seven skull fractures. He had to undergo two surgeries in which he experienced kidney failure and cardiac arrest.

His mother, Jennifer Reindl, took to social media to explain the ordeal her son went through. According to the Jennifer, the young teen died four times and one of the doctors told her his heart stopped beating for 15 minutes.

“The last time they brought him back he had no brainwaves, a damaged brain stem and his heart only beat because of adrenaline.”

The medical staff then told her McKinley was brain dead.

According to her Facebook post, the doctors “said the next time his heart stopped they had to let him die … Or I could sign a paper to donate his organs to save five other kids and they would keep hitting him with adrenaline till Monday … So I signed it … I knew he would not hesitate to save 5 more lives.”

The heartbroken mother felt it was not right to McKinsley that they kept bringing them back to life since every time it just damaged his organs ahead of transplant, Pretoria North Rekord reported.

However, a miracle happened a day before doctors were supposed to take him off life support- he woke up.

“There is no other explanation but God,” Trenton told ABC. “There is no other way that I could have come back even the doctors said.”
