These 5 politicians are some that hold the biggest posts in the country. Having said this, it does mean they have to always be serious and boring!

They attend parties, are active on social media and highly opinionated. Here are the five swankiest South African politicians:

1. Fikile Mbalula

Mbalula is a member of the national executive committee of the African National Congress and former leader of the African National Congress Youth League. He was the former Minister of Police and Minister of Sports and Recreation in the Cabinet of South Africa, and former deputy of minister of police.

2. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi

Dr Mbuyiseni Quintin Ndlozi is the youngest member of the Economic Freedom Fighters in Parliament. He is also the party's national spokesperson.

3. Malusi Gigaba

Since 27 February 2018, Gigaba has been the Minister of Home Affairs of The Republic of South Africa. Prior to this he served as the Minister of Finance, Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Public Enterprises in the government of South Africa.

4. Julius Malema

Malema served as President of the African National Congress Youth League from 2008 to 2012. After which he became a member of Parliament and the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

5. Bhei Cele

Before Cele was suspended from duty, in October 2011, due to allegations of corruption. He was officially dismissed in 2012 from Minister of Police. He was also part of the the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service.
