The two female celebs were slamming each other on the roast of Somizi. And, although the point of the show is to roast each other, South Africans believed the bad blood between Mazwai and Nomzamo Mbatha was not just for the show.

And, a series of tweets by Mazwai might just have proved fans' suspicions.

"After seeing her behaviour on the roast.....I'm cancelling my subscription to the nomzamo mbatha fan club. Issa a no thank you for me", Mazwai wrote on Twitter.

According to Mazwai, she was a fan of Mbatha before the show.

When one tweeps claimed Mazwai brought Mbatha's actions at the roast upon herself, she rubbished claims that she bad mouthed actress prior to the show.

The insults directed at Mazwai during Somizi's roast got so bad, tweeps started to think it was actually her roast.

"What do Ntsiki and apartheid have in common? They both tortured black prisoners. Ntsiki, your poetry is a crime deterrent. There is no need for the death penalty when you have Ntsiki”, former police minister Mbalula Fikile said.

However, according to the poet, she was not faced by the insults thrown at her during the roast because she is not "defensive and insecure".
