Our people love Juju: Choir serenades 'their Nkalakatha'

You either love Julius Malema or hate him, and one choir falls in the second category.

A video was posted on social media earlier this week, which showed a choir serenading the EFF leader.

"Our people love Julius", Olwethu Sipuka captioned the clip that just over one minute long.

TimesLIVE posted a rough translation of the song, which read:

"Julius is a Nkalakatha. Juju (echo) is boss of the bosses

He even asks for a signal from Mama Madikizela-Mandela (x2)

Mama, mama, mama, mama (echo)

We ask for a signal from Mama Madikizela-Mandela (x3)"

Social media users were loving the song and they took to Twitter to praise the group's creativity.

"That’s what we are, we skillful people, we are Creators, we are all. We have by all means necessary get rid of the mentality of we can’t", one tweep wrote.
Mmaselema Sa Lenaka wrote: "The creativity, the song and the performance are so this is so great recognition to CIC @Julius_S_Malema"

It was not the first time the video of the choir surfaced online. On 5 May, Tumi Selepe shared a video of the choir performing the song in front of a Shoprite.
