French family narrowly escapes cheetah attack

A French family got out of their car to take some pictures at a safari park, among the tourists was a mom with her child.

The family had been told not to leave the vehicles but they must not have listened and wanted to take photos of the a group of cheetahs sunning themselves on some rocks.

In a matter of seconds they realised that they had made a huge mistake as a group of cheetahs sprinted towards them.

The family fled to the safety of their cars, the mother and her child, whom she had scooped up were the last to make it to the vehicles and narrowly escaped being mauled by the wild cats.

Fortunately for them no one was injured in the ordeal which took place in a Dutch safari park.
