Wedded bliss: Our favourite South African celebrity love stories

Love stories always make us feel happy, so we take a look at some stories of some of South Africa’s favourite celebrity brides and grooms and find out more about them and their beautiful love story

1. Shona and Connie Ferguson has written before about the Fergusons and their amazing relationship before.

Shona and Connie Ferguson have a happy and successful marriage, as well as working together on their production company, Ferguson Films.

They say the secret to keeping their love alive, is to not allow outside influences into the marriage. Shona met Connie 15 years ago, and he said it was love at first sight.

The couple married in a traditional ceremony two months later. Years later, the Fergusons have two children, a grandchild, and are still madly in love.

2. Linda Mtoba & Steven Meyer

Linda and long time boyfriend, Steven are so happy together they beam in all the pictures since the wedding Linda described as like something from a Disney fairytale.

“Being married has taught me so much about myself, just like my acting has. Every day it feels like I am part of a brilliant love story. My marriage and my career are my core focus and in both I aim to grow more, learn more and love more,” she said.

3. Minnie & Quinton

Minnie Dlamini although now officially a Jones, has kept her birth surname for branding purposes.

She is one of the latest of SA's celebs to walk down the aisle, she and hubby, Quinton Jones, look made for each other.

4. Caster & Violet

There is no greater fan of South African Olympic gold medallist, Caster Semenya than her own wife, Violet Raseboy.

The couple, who were web last year in two ceremonies, are not afraid to show how madly in love they are. Having come through tough times, each has always been there for the other. Who can forget how sweet it was when Caster rushed away from an interview after her Olympic victory to speak to her wife on the phone?

5. Enhle and Black Coffee

This couple last week celebrated eight years together of wedded bliss. Enhle posted a touching tribute to their love on her instagram account.

"8 years ago all we heard was “it can’t and won’t happen and we are not meant to be”. Love and God proves otherwise. Yesterday your plan came to being and I remembered our hour long conversations about your dreams and mine would go , today you have shown that with a team that’s in it for you, God, a dream in your pocket all is possible .
