- Pearl called off her wedding this past weekend where she was mean to marry business man Nkululeko Buthelezi
- Last year they called off their engagement off, but it was back on shortly after
- There are allegations that the couple were having issues and that is why the wedding was called off, where other sources say it was due to a family member passing, but nothing has been confirmed
Television and radio presenter Pearl Modiadie has pulled a fast one in cancelling her wedding with Nkululeko Buthelezi twice in two years.
Just last year, the couple made the decision to call off their engagement, but were back on track not too long after.
Modiadie’s engagement was the hot topic last year and it seems that her wedding has gone the same way. The Citizen reported that she apparently cancelled her traditional wedding that was meant to have taken place this past weekend in Tembisa.
Pearl and her fiancé, Nkululeko’s wedding was allegedly cancelled due to “various issues in the build-up to their big day”.
Arelative of one of the two did not want to be named in fear of victimisation, but said Modiadie put the wedding on hold after a series of "silly clashes" with Buthelezi.
"I will not tell you what those silly clashes are because she would know I'm the source of your story," said a relative.
Briefly.co.za found that when Pearl was asked for comment, she refused to give any information.
“It is not something that I’m ready to talk about now guys, please understand & respect that,” she apparently said.
However, last week Pearl reportedly spoke of her cousin who passed in a car accident. Apparently Nkululeko said that the wedding was called off due to them having to attend a funeral, but there is no confirmation that this is the reason why.
We can only hope that the wedding was cancelled due to the couple needing to attend a funeral and not because there is trouble in paradise again. Only time will tell.
