At only seven-years-old, Emanuella Samuel became the youngest African to be nominated at the popular American awards show, Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards.
Samuel was born on 22 July 2010 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, but her native home is Imo state. At the age of seven the young girl is already one of the most popular comedians and actresses in Nollywood.
Briefly.co.za learned Samuel first shot to fame in the hit YouTube comedy series by Mark Angel, whom is also her cousin. She appeared n skits such as “Emanuella Sleep" and "My Real Face."
According to Nigeria Information, Samuel’s intelligence and perseverance helped her kick start an acting career while still in primary school.
Aside from her nomination as the Favourite African Star at Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Awards, Samuel received several local and international awards, including the Princess of Comedy award from Australia.
And, her hard work is defiantly paying off. According to AustineMedia.com, Samuel net worth is estimated to be N25 million, which is almost R850 000. We can all agree it is a lot for a seven-year-old.
In February, Samuel took to her Instagram account to announce she landed a role in a Disney movie.
"Thanks @disneystudios God bless everyone whose support has added to bringing us here. I never dreamed of being here so soon. I miss Success. I love you all.", she captioned the post.
