In a recent interview, Trevor Noah spoke about the Trump administration following recent developments.

One of the biggest changes to the Daily Show with Trump, says Noah, is that now they, as a show plan for the unplannable. Calling it the 5:30 curse, he says he and his team wait for the breaking news to hit at the last minute.

This is so that they can ensure the show stays relevant and on form. Noah also made reference to Trump stating that it would be easy to poke fun at the president on his show on a regular basis, but that his team constantly has to look for new angles and ideas in order to keep things fresh.

Noah added that Donald Trump has always reminded him of an African Dictator, and continued by saying that the first thing you have to do with an African dictator is “follow the money”. He added that you follow the money with the people closest to them… “family members, business associates…”

When talking about the Daily Show, Noah commented that comedy changes dependant on what is happening in society, and as a result his show has had to evolve with the change. He believes that comedy is a “release valve to tension”.

Noah has recently launched his foundation and Gates has congratulated him. It is safe to say that he is slaying.
