Winter has hit South Africa and now the first snow of the year has fallen as well!
It has been snowing in different parts of our beautiful country, brought on by a frigid cold front.
Temperatures are expected to fall even more over the week. But despite the icy mornings, we can still appreciate the beauty of a snow-capped mountain top.
South Africa's first snowfall of 2018 started on Tuesday morning on the top of Sani Pas as well is parts of Limpopo.
Slowly but surely the landscape was transformed into a beautiful white picturesque panorama.
South Africans rejoice as sweaty summer days are over and we can say goodbye to mosquitoes. Now we welcome in toasty nights in bed with cups of hot chocolate and marshmallows.
