Getting creative: SA taxi driver uses newspaper clippings to fake a licence disk

These metro police officers share the bizarre things that they encounter on a daily basis and it serves for a good laugh.

A picture of a taxi driver using newspaper clippings in place of his licence disk went viral. The picture was even shared by Johannesburg Metro Police officials, reported Jacaranda FM.

We will give it to the taxi driver, it was a good attempt. The metro police officer who saw this must have had a good chuckle, not something you see every day.

Briefly.co.za learnt that a Twitter account linked to JMPD, @AskTheChiefJMPD, shared another only in South Africa moment, where a taxi driver used an airtime slip in place of the driver's licence.

It seems that our taxi drivers are getting extremely creative in hopes of avoiding having to legally licence their vehicles.
