Soapie star Lusanda Mbane turned 39 today. Well known for her role in Scandal!, this star has so much more to her name.
She featured as Naomi Malotana on the SABC1 soapie Generations, from 2010-2011. She was awarded this role after she contacted one of the producers and auditioned for him. Just goes to show you that if you really want something, you need to go after it.
The star was born in Butterworth in the Eastern Cape and after school studied towards a qualification in Marketinh at UNISA.
She was raised by a single mother and married business analyst Luzuko Mbane. They have two children.
As if all of this is not enough, Mbane has worked tirelessly to protect her precious family from the press and her busy life.
She states firmly that her family, and those close to her never signed up for fame and fortune and so it is her responsibility to protect them from it.
