EFF leaders meet Messi at Barcelona vs Sundowns game but can’t expropriate the win

EFF leaders, including Julius Malema, Floyd Shivambu and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, got to meet Barcelona's superstar Messi on Wednesday.

The EFF's official Twitter account shared a photo of a smiling Malema shaking Messi's hand. Shivambu also posted more photos on his Twitter account.

However, it appeared that the EFF's "expropriation without compensation" mantra couldn't secure a win for Mamelodi Sundowns, who lost the game 3-1.

EFF's leaders watched the game from the stadium's VIP section and sat close to billionaire Patrice Motsepe, Mamelodi Sundowns' owner.

Shivambu even said Messi and the entire Barcelona team were "honoured" to meet EFF's leadership.
