- Natasha Mazzone, DA Shadow Minister of Public Enterprises made her debut on Wednesday night on #AsItHappens
- She covered the topic of Patricia de Lille, giving her views and opinions
- All together, Mazzone made a pretty good news anchor
Who said broadcasting is only for presenters! Politicians have been handed over the reins by the news network to showcase their ability at presenting.
First it was Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Pule Mabe’s turn earlier this week, now it’s time for the DA representative.
Natasha Mazzone, DA Shadow Minister of Public Enterprises, made her debut on Wednesday night, anchoring the news, part of the #AsItHappens series on eNCA. Mazzone certainly made the DA proud.
The task Natasha had was possibly the most daunting so far. The DA’s feud with Patricia de Lille raises many questions. The apparent lack of diversity within the DA’s senior ranks is also questionable, gathered Briefly.co.za.
Natasha Mazzone takes on #AsItHappens
The Gupta brothers were top of the list for discussion. Mazzone started off by updating the current state of affairs with regards to the brothers. The claim they have publicly made, denying that there are no allegations against them, is totally bizarre.
Mazzone’s no-nonsense approach was once again witnessed in Parliament when she glared straight into the TV camera assuring the Indian billionaires that she “would be happy to explain those charges to them”.
Mazzone thoughts on Patricia de Lille
It was inevitable that the de Lille question would be asked of the Shadow Minister. The current de Lille debacle “rocking” the DA was admitted by Mazzone. She is feeling optimistic that after the upcoming hearing, the DA will be vindicated.
As far as the diversity within her party, Mazzone was straight up. Should a new diversity clause be introduced into the DA’s constitution, Mazzone feels that would be the solution.
