- It took her more than two years
- She said it means a lot to her because she grew up in modest housing
Capricorn FM radio host Keabetswe Motlokwa is thanking God after building two houses for her mom and grandmother.
Kea shared the heartwarming news on Twitter along with photos of the houses, Briefly.co.za learned. She wrote:
My Mom sent me these 2 pictures with a simple message, 'Thank you for the pride you have restored in our lives.' A dream delayed is not a dream denied. We did IT! My Gran & My Mom's houses in Venda! We are almost done; took us 2 & a half years. Oh GOD! Thank you.
In follow-up tweets, the Immaculate Breakfast Show host said her mom's message made her cry. She added that building the houses means a lot to her because of her modest upbringing.
Kea explained that she couldn't take any of her friends home while growing up because there was not enough space to sleep.
Finally, Kea urged people not to give up on their dreams no matter how difficult their situation is.
She thanked God for her achievement, something she said she could never have imagined when she was a teenager.
Kea's followers congratulated her. See some of their reactions below.
