AKA is often portrayed as the king of bragging, he has even been accused a couple of times of poverty shaming, but in reality, he has a heart of gold.
Kiernan Forbes, or most commonly known by his stage name AKA, is one of the most successful rappers in South Africa- which means he makes a lot of money.
And, aside from splashing on the occasional luxuries, AKA uses his wealth to make a difference in the lives of others.
On Friday AKA tweeted he wanted to give away some of his Adidas shoes to someone who really needs them.
“I’m fortunate enough to have a deal with @ReebokClassics where I could rock a new pair every day. Maybe i should try do something for those less fortunate who can only rock one pair a year. Doesn’t feel right seeing my cupboards overflowing with sneakers I might never wear again.”, he posted on Twitter.
His tweet received a lot of responses from social media users who would just love to rock a pair of AKA’s shoes.
Like we said earlier, this would not be the first time AKA does something nice for others.
As Briefly.co.za reported previously, AKA has his own scholarship in collaboration with the SAE Institute and Bridges for Music, which covers the full year tuition for SAE’s full-time Higher Certificate in Sound Production at their Cape Town campus.
