Businessman and Uthando Nes'thembu reality TV star Musa Mseleku was “given” an extra wife by fans on the internet. Fans jumped to the conclusion that he might be considering her as his next wife when a photo was shared on social media of the well-known polygamist alongside a woman who was visiting his home
Reality TV star Musa Mseleku was surprised to learn that fans on the internet had gifted him a brand new wife.
Uthando Nes'thembu which features the life of Mseleku and his four wives is widely watched and appreciated by South African viewership.
Briefly.co.za learned from a news report that recently a picture did the rounds on social media with captions that suggest Mseleku had received the approval of his wives to take a fifth wife.
The photo accompanying the caption featured a woman who had recently visited their KZN homestead with her arm around him.
Of course, this “fifth wife” was news to Mseleku who said the woman had just visited for the launch of a tourism program.
The newest tourist offering to come as an offshoot from the show will allow people to take guided tours of the family's traditional homestead.
"I didn't know anything about this until I was told there was a picture of her and me. She was just at my house last week because we had visitors launching our tourism route. She's not wife number five‚" he said with a laugh.
Fans of the show were less than impressed when, during the past season, he seemed to be considering taking another wife.
However, his plan was quashed by his existing four wives.
"There are no plans for that right now. We are all too focused on business ventures. We are relaunching our book and we have just opened a tourism route. Those are what we are worrying about‚ not another addition to the family‚" he said recently.
