Weekly wrap up: A clever K-9, Clement Masosa pops the question, Pastor raises eyebrows, drunk Jali jailed and is AKA and DJ Zinhle back together

This last week has been a bit crazy with some odd bits of news making headlines. From proposals, Pastors asking congregants to do strange things, a smart police dog, a drunk driver five times over the limit and are AKA and DJ Zinhle giving it a second chance.

Hilarious video shows a police dog leading his handler straight to a snake

A video went viral earlier in the week of a police dog leading his handler straight to something he was not prepared for. The dog sat next to something he found as he was trained to do. As the officer came over to investigate he soon turned tale and ran screaming "snake!".

The video has over 1.5-million views and has been shared 23000 times.

If you like it put a ring on it: Clement Maosa popped the question

Skeem Skaam actor Clement Maosa turned 30 last week, but he also popped the big question to his gorgeous girlfriend and she said yes.

Clement and Kemo started their fairy tale romance late in 2017. Media went crazy over the couple. Clement did not hesitate to show her off and we knew from that moment, that he was smitten.

Pastor raises eyebrows after asking congregants to take off their underwear.

A Zimbabwean pastor recently caused an outrage online after performing one of the most bizarre stunts yet.

The pastor, whose name itself leaves a lot of questions, all but converted his service into a full on pervert show.

In a video seen by Briefly.co.za, the so-called Pastor Mboro asks his congregants to peel off their underwear and wave them in the air like it was some sort of ritual.

Amazingly, the church-goers oblige and they soon start worshipping with panties in the air.

Jali jailed for drunk driving: Cops say he was 15 times over limit

Bafana-Bafana star player Andile Jali was arrested in Pretoria over the weekend for drunken driving. The former Orlando Pirates player was caught by Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) officers during a roadblock in Hatfield, Pretoria on Saturday.

Jali spent the night behind bars after being found to be about 15 times over the legal driving limit. He reportedly clocked a whopping 0.78 on the breathalyser test. The legal limit in South Africa is 0.05.

Jali’s manager, Mike Makaab, said he did not have first-hand accounts of the alleged incident because he was currently out of the country, he did, however, say that his client denied the allegations.

Are AKA and DJ Zinhle giving love a second chance?

Breakups and makeups, life can be complicated, and then you add a kid to the mix and things just get crazy. It’s not often that you see a couple that’s split, able to stay friends for the sake of their kids.

This seemed to be the case with AKA and DJ Zinhle. The two split in a rather messy breakup and things turned south fast. The two went their separate ways after DJ Zinhle found out her other half has been cheating on her for five months.

This Mother’s Day saw a whole different side to the two as AKA tweeted a message to the mother of his child, thanking her for all she does for their daughter and wishing her a great day. As if that wasn’t enough, he then spent the day with mom and daughter, celebrating the day together.
