- The Safa boss is facing a wave of complaints that he sexually assaulted a number of women
- The wave of complaints started with Jennifer Ferguson who claimed that Jordaan assaulted her 25 years ago
- Jordaan maintains that the allegations are merely an attempt to prevent him from running for president of Safa
Danny Jordaan is facing another wave of allegations of impropriety, this time from a niece of a top politician.
A case was opened up against Jordaan at the Parkview Police Station earlier this week. The South African Football Association (Safa) is already facing several cases of sexual harassment.
The wave of complaints against Jordaan started with the first case being opened by former ANC MP Jennifer Ferguson after she accused him of assaulting her 25 years ago at a hotel in Port Elizabeth.
The second complain was made by an author and niece of a top politician, she alleges that Jordaan tried to force himself on her after he groped her. The 40-year old alleges that this took place in 2011 at a five-star hotel in Sandton.
The niece also alleges that Jordaan sexually assaulted her on three other occasion, one of the occasions was during a meeting at Safa house in Nasrec.
Jordaan's lawyer maintains that this is all part of a smear campaign to discredit the Safa boss and prevent him from running for president of Safa next week,
