3 things to remember when applying for Maps Maponyane's R75 000 bursary

Maps Maponyane, known as South African it-boy, has over the past few years, become increasingly involved in philanthropy and education.

Maponyane has appeared at various prominent events across the country delivering commencement address, graduation speeches and motivational talks.

Pearson Institute awarded one lucky student with a bursary worth R75 000. Maponyane, who is a multi-talented media personality, partnered with Pearson Institute, instituting this amazing grant and making life a little easier for this learner, Briefly.co.za gathered.

“As some of you may know, I’m passionate about youth, education and giving opportunity; so I’m excited to have partnered with Pearson Institute to set up a 'Maps Maponyane”.

Maponyane is able to provide this grant to one lucky student due to the fact that he has made connections over the years. The R75 000 bursary is courtesy of the Pearson Institute (formerly Midrand Graduate Institute/MGI).

3 things to keep in mind when applying:

1. There is no age limit to applications and the closing date is 9 July 2018

2. Only South African citizens who intend to study full time towards degree on offer at any of the Pearson Institute/CTI campuses, are eligible to apply.

3. One has to have a senior certificate or equivalent and the relevant entrance requirements for their desired field of study.
