Royal Wedding excitement is still upon us with the sharing of the royal portraits

- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently wed this passed Saturday have released three official wedding pictures via a social media post on their Twitter account

- Famous photographer Alexi Lubomirski comments on what an honour it is to capture the family portraits

- The portraits shared are of the happy couple, the royal family, and one taken with the children that participated in the wedding ceremony of Saturday

Briefly.co.za learned from reports by The South African that the Kensington Palace released official royal portraits of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Monday.

Photographer Alexi Lubomirski also shot their Royal Highnesses engagement pictures in December 2017.

Mr Lubomirski shoots for fashion magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, including many celebrities. He stated that it had been an "incredible honour" to document the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's "inspiring journey of love".

The portrait included members of the royal family, including Prince Harry’s brother, his best man at the wedding, William, Duke of Cambridge. Included in the photo are Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother.

The second photo is one of the couple with the flower girls and pageboys who participated in the royal affair this past Saturday.

Lastly a couple’s photo was released that was taken on the east terrace of Windsor Castle. The palace captioned the image: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding.”
