So, one man decided to act against his ‘stalker’ and he phoned the North Ridgeville Police Department in Ohio in the early morning hours on Saturday.

However, his stalker was no dangerous person, it was in fact a pig.

Taking to Facebook, the department shared the story in a light-hearted post, Times LIVE reported.

"Night shift responded to the obviously drunk guy walking home from the bar at 5:26 in the morning. He was at least drunk enough to call the police on himself while hallucinating," the post read.

However, learned when officers arrived at the scene, they found a sober man walking from the Amtrak station with his friendly ‘stalker’ just behind him.

According the officers, Ryan Singley said the pig stayed close to him and constantly tried to get him to show affection.

"It was staying close to me, rubbing against my legs, and was trying to climb up my legs to get me to pet her," Singley said.

The incident ended with the officers putting the ‘stalker pig’ in their cruiser and taking it home to its owner the following day.
