Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly planning to make a statement on his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portugal international won his fifth career Champions League title after helping Los Blancos beat Liverpool 3-1 on Saturday, May 26, in Kiev.

Though, the 33-year-old forward didn’t score in the last three UCL games, he ended up becoming the highest goalscorer for this season with a total of 15 goals.

However, when he was asked about his future at the Spanish League side, he said he wants to enjoy this moment and later, he will reveal where he will go.

"Now to enjoy, and in the next few days I will give an answer to the fans that they are on my side, it was very nice to be in Madrid," he told reporters.

"In the next few days I will give an answer, now we have to enjoy the moment, the future of any player is not important, we have made history."

Ronaldo further explained that he was misquoted in some of his previous interviews, saying he never disclosed he was dumping Madrid at the end of this season.

"They took something out of context that I shouldn't have said. I am not saying I am going," he said.

He maintained that it will be difficult to find a club like Los Blancos: "It is difficult to find a better place than Madrid, the best club in the world. But I can't guarantee I will stay at Real Madrid.

"These are situations which have been coming a long time but sometimes you lose control. Life is not just about glory."

Meanwhile, Galacticos boss Zidane said: "Cristiano Ronaldo has to stay at Real Madrid.Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with Real Madrid, but we have to see. earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo reveals he should not be compared to Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

The 33-year-old claims they play from different positions on the pitch adding that he's more potent scoring with his head.

Both players have been phenomenal for their teams all competition long – with Ronaldo scoring 15 goals in the last 12 matches, while Salah has net 11 goals in the same number of games.
