South Africans witnessed the drama on Abomama when Tshidi, played by actress Khanyi Mbau, took of her wig to fight her mother-in-law.

Black Twitter applauded actress Mbau after her character took off her wig to put her bae’s mother in check- however, mommy-in-law was not standing back, so she took off her doek.

And, fans knew it was going down- this were about to get physical!

“I’ll beat you old woman”, Tshidi is heard saying while taking off her wig, adding “I will hit you against the walls. Today you will know me better, I come from Soweto”.

The scene received a lot of attention from tweeps and soon the memes came rolling in. Mbau even weighed in on the situation.

“Thank you for watching guys!!! Now Sh*t hits the fan, come early next week!!! It’s on #Abomamamzansi”, she wrote on her Twitter page.

“Best Abomama show everkhanyi u go sister today u rock it”, one tweep wrote, another added, “hahahah wig mustfall dis Sunday shem”.

Mbau is bringing the heat to Abomama, her fans can’t wait for the next episode. However, her personal life has South Africans just as curious about what’s happening next.

As Briefly.co.za reported earlier, Mbau and Tebogo Lerole shocked their fan base when they announced they were calling it quits at the start of the year. But, now speculations are up again as to whether things are still over, or if there is something brewing again.
