Mosimane said part of his job was to be prepared for any player leaving and that was what he was doing. He revealed that Tau was already engaged in talks with European clubs.

He admitted that losing Tau would be tough, but said he had lost key players before and as then he would have to find replacements. gathered that Mosimane did, however, once again hint that Bafana Bafana star Andile Jali could replace Tau. Mosimane said it was ‘highly likely’ that Jali would be joining the Brazilians for next season.

Mosimane confirmed that Sundowns were still in the running to secure the services of Jali who is currently a free agent.

Jali is currently in talks with Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Fans of all three clubs have been holding their breath for weeks to find out who Jali will play for next season.

Mosimane revealed that he personally has not met with Jali, but that the club and player were still engaged in negotiations.

Could this tweet from Andile Jali be a subtle hint that he has or is close to signing for Sundowns?

He said Jali would bring extra value to the midfield with his vast experience and positive on-field attitude. reported that Mosimane said the only potential stumbling block for Jali was whether he really wanted to play in the PSL or whether he wanted to relax and spend time with his family and enjoy the fruits of his labour.

Meanwhile, Mosimane has also vowed to do everything in his power to persuade Khama Billiat to stay at the club. The Zimbabwean has also been linked to a move to Europe.
