- It performed Phind'ukhulume, a Zulu gospel song
- The performance was amazing
A Cape Town-based school choir has performed an amazing rendition of the Zulu gospel hit Phind'ukhulume.
Table View High School performed the song during this year's Cape Town Eisteddfod, Briefly.co.za learned.
The famous South African gospel group, Joyous Celebration, originally sang the hit. However, the school choir absolutely made it their own.
The school shared a video of the performance on its Facebook page and accompanied it with the caption:
The choir received 84% at the Cape Town Eisteddfodd and then gave us a repeat performance in assembly on Africa Day. #proudviewie.
According to Goodthingsguy.com, the Eisteddfod was started in 1903. Its aim is to showcase outstanding performances in five categories within the arts.
These categories include speech and drama; music; art; literature; and dance.
Viewers praised the school choir's performance. See some of their comments in the screenshot below.
