A South African-themed clothing brand is aiming to promote South Africa's unique street fashion trends.
RSA.com was formally launched in 2015, Briefly.co.za learned. According to Brandsouthafrica.com, it sells uniquely branded items such as t-shirts and caps.
Its founder and Operations Manager is Tshepo Kolanchu. In an interview, he said the brand has partnered with Brand South Africa and Proudly SA to promote the country abroad.
In addition, RSA.com placed exhibitions at the 2018 Buy Local Summit in March. It has also worked with the Miss Gauteng pageant, among other agencies.
Tshepo said plans are underway to popularise the brand through social media campaigns and its newly launched website.
We also hope to create opportunities for other business people to open and manage physical stores in cities around the country and abroad.
This would spur economic growth and job creation, he added.
The brand is proving popular especially among the youth. Photos shared on its page show young people proudly donning RSA.com-branded t-shirts.
