Simz Ngema has had a tough few months since her hubby died, and although she learned to start living again, some days prove to be harder than others.
On Thursday, Ngema took to social media to share a heart-breaking message to her late husband, Dumi Masilela, on his birthday.
“We started dating on the 13th of May 2014, Daddy passed away on the 16th of May 2016, we got married on the 20th and 21st of May 2017 and today 31st of May is your birthday. It’s been one hell of a month but we soldiered on. Happy birthday Boongs❤️ I know for sure that today Nishona phansi in heaven. I love you, forever and always. #eternalcrush ❤️#GoodbyeMay2018”, she captioned a video of her and her hubby lip syncing to a song.
According to News365.co.za, those close to Masilea wanted to throw a big party in his honour, but instead they spend his 30th birthday sharing their fondest memories of him.
As Brielfy.co.za reported previously, Ngema turned to her friends to for comfort after Masilela was killed in a botched hijacking attempt.
And, although she learned to live again, she took to social media to share her late hubby would be her eternal crush.
On their anniversary earlier this month, Ngema shared a post, thanking God for the time she had to experience true love.
“I thank God for giving me a chance to experience love in its purest form. You’d swear I was something magical from the way you looked at me. I love you forever and always. Happy 1st year wedding anniversary.”, she wrote.
