David Mabuza jets off to Kenya in business class, and tweeps are not impessed

David Mabuza is alive and well- not that we thought something happened to him, but the deputy president did have some people worried when he went MIA a couple of weeks ago.

Taking to social media, the president's spokesperson posted a photo of a smiling David Mabuze aboard a plane on Thursday.

“Not a fluke or one hit wonder. Not a PR stunt either. Whenever it’s possible the Presidency flies our national carrier✊ Silapha ngoku with DP @DDMabuza”, Khusela Diko captioned a photo of the South African second in command.

But, tweeps were not impressed with Mabuza flying in commercial.

As Briefly.co.za reported previously, David Mabuza had the EFF and Black Twitter worried after he was missing in action following a work trip to Russia.

His absence prompted the EFF and parody Twitter account Man’s Not Barry Roux to post hilarious missing posters for Mabuza.

However, he has since returned to South Africa where he addressed several issues in the country, land expropriation being one of them.

Briefly.co.za reported on Wednesday, Mabuza told Parliament that Government is working on addressing issues relating to rights of ownership of land.

However, by the looks of Diko’s Twitter post, Mabuza is leaving the country again. The Citizen reported Mabuza would be visiting the Kenyan capital Nairobi on a working visit, where he would attend the Madaraka Day (Freedom Day) celebrations.
