Pastor Mboro has had quite the positive influence on his fellow religious leader, prophet Shepherd Bushiri.

Mboro managed to get Bushiri to make peace with the man he has been feuding with for almost two years.

Bushiri and Antonio Martin's bad blood began in 2016, after the prophet made some controversial prophecies about the businessman's wife, mother and sick child.

Bushiri told Martin's wife her child was sick because a songoma spirit entered with the help of her mother-in-law, whom he called a witch.

Briefly.co.za learned the prophecies led to Martin starting a Bushiri must fall campaign and he even went as far as to take legal action against the pastor.

Martin's wife ended up divorcing him and he then threatened to disrupt Bushiri's services, to the point that members of the congregation became too afraid to attend services.

However, on Thursday, the two men apologised to each other- Bushiri said sorry over his prophecies and in return, Martin agreed to withdraw intimidation, assault and defamation charges.

"We met and I apologised for that prophecy because prophecy is not supposed to destroy people. He called his mother in my presence and I spoke to her and apologised to her too," Bushiri said.

Martin then said he already started to processes to drop the lawsuits against the prophet, adding Bushiri agreed to pay the legal fees for his divorce.

According tot the Sowetan, Bushiri said he and Martin buried the hatchet as part of the #Mboro50 campaign, which is aimed to unite warring parties.

As for Mboro's part as peacemaker, he said he was happy he could help the two men stop feuding, something he said was good for their images.
