Thato Kgatlhanye is one of those people we are glad became a millionaire- her business betters the lives of others.
In January, Briefly.co.za reported on the young entrepreneur, who is the mastermind behind the Repurpose Schoolbags.
At the tender age of 18, she co-founded Rethaka, a company which recycles plastic bags and turn it into schoolbags. However, she gave her schoolbags an extra function.
Every schoolbag is also equipped with a solar charger, which is used to power a light at night, since most of the underprivileged children live in areas without electricity.
Her genius design not only bettered the lives of thousands of school children, but she also enjoyed the prosperities of her labour.
Rethaka was quickly named on Forbes’ list as one of the top 30 under 30 people, and although her exact net worth is unknown, her Instagram page speaks of a life of luxury.
From yachts to spa weekends to trips oversees, Kgatlhanye’s heart of gold helped live a life of luxury.
And, the young entrepreneur makes sure she thanks God for the success she received thus far.
Unlike a lot of other millionaires, Kgatlhanye does not gloat about her riches- aside from the pics of her travelling and enjoying some of the finer things in life, she does not show off things she buys with her money.
