After two successful years, Anele Mdoda leaves 'Real Talk'

- Anele will be leaving 'Real Talk' as of June 8 to work on her own personal projects and growth

- She has been thanked for her part in the success of the show and leaves a huge gap to fill

- Anele has, however, said that she hopes it is not forever

Anele Mdoda is a name we all know very well. The TV talk show host is leaving 'Real Talk' after an incredible two years.

Anele has played a crucial role in 'Real Talk' and really is the face of the show. She is what comes to mind when thinking of the show and she is leaving very big shoes to fill.

SABC3’s Head of Bouquet, Aisha Mohamed, expressed their gratitude for Anele and highlighted what an important part she was of the show and its success. Ashai said that “Anele has been an integral part of the show.".

Her last show will air on 8 June, which is a Friday, but the season will still run until the end of October 2018. 'Real Talk' will be seeing a new host soon, reported SowetanLIVE.

In a statement that she gave to SABC 3, it is said that Mdoda has chosen to end her journey with Real Talk in order to give her time and energy to her own personal projects and career growth.

“Real Talk with Anele has, since the beginning of season one, been exceptionally close to my heart and I have been enormously proud to work with SABC 3.”

Anele went on to say that she feels this is the correct decision for her personal growth and that it is time to take the leap.

It has been a prosperous two years for her and she expressed her gratitude to the show and the viewers for all the opportunities she has received and for all the support.

However, it does not seem like a permanent thing as the star did say that “hopefully this is not the end but see you later.”, gathered
