Actress opens up on how HIV positive nanny used to breastfeed her son

Jacquey Nyaminde, popularly known by her stage name Wilbroda, is a force to reckon with.

The single mother of one is beyond proud of her seven-year-old son who she always describes as her blessing.

Speaking to Parents Magazine, the gorgeous mother opened up about how she found out her nanny used to breastfeed her soon without her knowledge.

"When my son was around eight months old, I had to travel to Mombasa on a work assignment and so I left him under the care of a nanny whom I had trusted so much. While in Mombasa, I received an anonymous call from a person who informed me that my house help breastfeeds my son whenever he cries," she said.

Wilbroda’s heart sunk immediately forcing her to hop onto the next flight to Nairobi.

The distraught mother later discovered from her neighbours her nanny was HIV positive, something she hid from the actress.

According to them, the lady breastfed the child whenever he would cry.

The Papa Shirandula actress took her son to hospital in the wee hours of the night and fortunately, he tested negative.

Wilbroda admitted she fired her employee the next day and it took her every ounce of strength and restraint to avoid lashing out on her.

"I had to verify the information from my neighbours and in the process, I was informed my nanny not only breastfeeds my son, but was also living with HIV," she continued.
