For some time now Bonang Matheba and AKA's fans have been witnessing the two stars shading each other without actually going as far as out-rightly pointing fingers and giving names.

Some fans enjoy the show and look forward to the next shade, while other wish the two would just stop already.

The sneaky stabs at each other has fans divided: Team A vs. Team B - AKA or Bonang?

Briefly.co.za reported on the couple's break up and how Bonang is dealing with it. Despite her breakup from rapper AKA being months ago, Bonang Matheba was still a little shaken by the single life.

She seems to be happy outwardly and she looks as radiant as ever, but looks can be deceiving. There are rumours passing among her fans that perhaps she still feels something for the rapper, but refuses to admit it.

Bonang has promised her fans that she will share her thoughts on the split in her second season of Being Bonang, and she delivered. She opened up during an episode of the show.

Although she never mentioned AKA, it was clear who she was talking about when she said, "What if I never find a decent guy and I fall in love with another musician. You know everyone has a type‚".

The latest in the AKA-Bonang saga is that AKA treated fans to a little preview to one of his new tracks from his Touch My Blood album, and some of the lines sound suspiciously shade-y...

Waited two years just to see you with your weave off, tell me what that say about your character, you was f**king me when I was busy paying damages.

The Queen B has been relatively quiet on their break-up except that incident on the Being Bonang episode.

Bonang saw the clip and replied with a simple but effective "Lol!!"

This started the fire.

AKA's thumbs got busy and he replied with a series of tweets.

I never thought that I would end up feeling so bitter about love. — AKA (@akaworldwide) May 31, 2018
You think you know someone until you unpack all their shit & find rocks tied up in a plastic bag in your bedroom cupboard.— AKA (@akaworldwide) May 31, 2018
I’m not talking bath salts ... I’m talking the type of rocks you pull out of a river. What they’re doing wrapped up in my bedroom? I don’t know. — AKA (@akaworldwide) May 31, 2018

Things are really heating up and fans are grabbing chairs, popcorn and tea to enjoy the fireworks.

They can't help but wonder what's next.

Some fans are reminded by AKA's actions of what he did after his break up from DJ Zinhle:

Other fans want the drama to end and things to come to a point:

Curious fans will have to either tune in to Being Bonang or buy AKA's album, depending on whose side of the story they want to hear.
