Elias Cindi made a decision, he refused to beg and put his efforts into helping the community by cleaning the Main Road in Bryanston.
Elias has a new goal, he wants to buy a brush cutter to work more efficiently. He began his custodial duties in December 2017.
A kind resident has given Elias a cell phone but he still lives on the street near Peter Place. The 51-year-old has remained committed and has taken his meager savings and put a deposit down on a petrol brush cutter.
Elias wants to use the grass cutter to trim the edges along the road and plans to invest in a chainsaw so that he can cut some the trees.
He still owes R1 615 for the petrol brush cutter after already paying R3 080. Elias makes money from generous motorists who drive by.
He believes that it will take him a few more weeks to save up the rest of the money. He dreams of one opening up his own gardening service one day.
If you want to and are able to assist Elias in realising his dream, you can donate to him at Mr Greenfinger in Randburg.
