South Africans on Twitter have expressed their disappointment at the national soccer team following their loss to Madagascar in the COSAFA Cup.
Bafana Bafana exited the tournament without reaching the semi-finals after losing 4-3 on penalties. The two teams played out a 0-0 draw in regular time.
Soon after the result, Mzansi Twitter was abuzz with comments about the national team's performance. Briefly.co.za compiles some of the tweets below.
"Bunch of losers."
Some fans felt coach Stuart Baxter must resign.
However, others thought that the players are simply not good enough.

The overwhelming sentiment was of sheer disbelief.
